Hey! I'm Chloe.
Y’know how there are “dog people”, “horse people”, “beach people”, etc? Well, I’m a “human people” (though you’d never know it by my social skills in large groups). I love human anatomy and physiology, I love stories and storytelling, and I love how our unique experiences shape and show up in our bodies.
I’ve been a massage therapist since 2008. In 2013 I started delving into women’s health on a deep search for what’s “normal” vs what’s “common”. I grew up with terrible periods (like killer migraine the day before, debilitating cramps the first two days, way too much bleeding, nausea, diarrhea, and enough PMS to sabotage my relationships only to apologize a few days later after realizing I was insane). The bodywork and information I present to you is all based off of many, many, many classes to balance your body and increase circulation to get to the root cause.
I tend to lean on the natural side, but I encourage women to do what makes them feel the most comfortable and supported. While some techniques I’ve learned were recently developed by their creators, others bits have been passed down from generation to generation of midwives and women. I’ve been lucky to learn alongside nurses, midwives, physical therapists, medical doctors, naturopaths, chiropractors, lactation consultants, doulas, mothers, and other bodyworkers, who have all added valuable clinical experience and anecdotal evidence to each lesson. I’m a lifelong learner, and I’m always on the hunt for ways to be more efficient.
Even though I only work on/with women, my house at home is full of boys. I have three sons with wildly different birth and life experiences. If I ever think I’ve figured it all out, they are quick to humble me. I’m lucky enough to have created a career that I’m super passionate about, but I also enjoy brainstorming ideas for my husband to make in the garage, talking about lady stuff, time management, and doing imaginary Feng Shui fixes in every space I’m in.
